Sago Network completes toilet system trial in PNG
Sago Network has recently presented interesting findings from their toilet trial in PNG.
Working with a strong local team, they have been trialling both dehydration and composting systems. Village family acceptance, levels of use, maintenance requirements and the longer term technical performance of the systems were all on trial.
Phase 2 of the works will involve a redesign the unit based on detailed family feedback, data logged from the toilets and detailed inspections. Phase 3 will then commence construction of multiple units.
