Due to the tragic loss of local people in the nearby village and destruction of many houses, including those of the local workers on the project, works have been stopped.

The partners to the project (Teeth and Toilets, Rotary, WorldSkills Foundation and IAPMO) have all agreed to proceed only when the local school committee and construction team have attended to the urgent shelter and rebuilding works so desperately needed.
