Worldskills Foundation supports 4 projects

The Worldskills Foundation has agreed to support 4 small, active projects with skilled trades and materials.

After the successful Sanitation Studio in Nepal early in 2013, a recent meeting of the Worldskills Foundation board in Liepzig Germany agreed to support the 4 active projects.

HH proposed the 4 projects to the Foundation as they are established, locally driven, small and effective at using small amounts of money to make great change. The Worldskills Foundation is offering skilled and passionate trades to improve or expand the range of skills and techniques available to the four selected projects.

HH and the Worldskills Foundation see the potential of trades such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters and bricklayers being directly involved in improving health by working with – and passing on skills to – strong, locally managed organisations.
