When the detail is important …
When houses have high populations, people are poor and can’t afford baby baths, laundry tubs become a good place to wash young children.
If washing machine waste water has to be drained via the tub (not a separate waste or tub diverter) the tub is more likely to have bugs harmful to the child.
This new laundry lacks this drainage, a high shelf for storing detergents out of the reach of children and the taps could have been raised slightly to allow a better fit for the washing machine. The laundry design has also got a number of things right and will help with safety, function and reducing long term maintenance.
