“The government’s response has been slow, I accept that” Nepal government’s head of reconstruction

Thanks to Reuters, Andrew MacAskill in Kathmandu and the SMH for the attached article outlining the slow progress of reconstruction in Nepal.

In fairness to all involved, the monsoon season (ending this month) has a major impact on the country and rebuilding but there are few signs that planning has been done during the three month wet season to enable a major rebuilding effort at the end of September.
