Since many different languages can be spoken, we tell the story in pictures.
Below is a cartoon by the late Paul Pholeros for UPK (Uwankara Palyanku Kanyintjaku), a project to ‘stop people getting sick’ on the APY Lands in South Australia. These drawings were made for community, to highlight the link between functioning homes and good health.
They provide an excellent parallel as to why house function is crucial to health improvement in the midst of a pandemic, showing how infectious disease can easily spread without functioning health hardware.
