Removing waste safely or more toilets built in Nepal

April 4th, 2012

April 2012 saw another 10 toilets completed in Nepal. A full Nepalese team trained people from the 2 new participating villages and the works completed were of a very high standard. The training team came from Bhattedande, the first village to be completed in the sanitation program.

There was great enthusiasm in the village at the handover and all 10 families contributed to provide a thank you lunch for CDHS and the training team.

This means that a total of 72 toilets and waste treatment systems have been completed in Nepal. The well established CHDS Nepalese teams can now convert $$$s into high quality, working toilets that will greatly improve people’s lives. What is needed most now are funds to assist the program!
