Nepal and ‘open defecation free’ districts

Let’s hope the numbers about almost 4,000 Village Development Committees being declared ODF (open defecation free) mean less human waste on the ground, better treatment of the waste so as not to pollute water courses and that the systems installed are able to be maintained and function for the long term.
