IWSH on a plumbing star

HH have partnered with global leaders in plumbing standards, IAPMO on projects in Nepal and South Africa since 2014. Guided by the same vision as HH to involve skilled trades on every project to improve health and sanitation, IAPMO have formed The International Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Foundation (IWSH) to “serve as a bridge for the International water, sanitation and hygiene community with specific focus of the role of the Plumbing Industry in community collaborations and educational exchange.”

The Community Plumbing Challenge is a commitment of the foundation central to the shared focus to instil the notion of plumbers as health workers and the importance of a global standard for plumbing. HH looks forward to many more projects, real-world events and continuing to work with the strong, dedicated team who lead work of IWSH.

“The International Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Foundation (IWSH) has a simple mission to continuously work to improve on the human condition by fostering the basic human right of safe access to clean water and sanitation. While our mission is simple, our methods are strategic and diverse. IWSH strives to align our own efforts with those of government, industry and the communities where we work to ensure that the water systems are safe and sustainable.”
