3x3x3 Design Challenge

July 31st, 2013

How many architects (and some in allied design fields) does it take to make a 3x3x3 metre cube?

MANY!!! and for good reason. A group of enthusiastic and energetic design students from the University of NSW, Sydney Australia have been working through their holidays, with Healthabitat, to answer the 3x3x3 Design Challenge.

Taking 28 years of complex health messages and design ideas and then designing a 3x3x3 cube, that will sit in the Powerhouse Museum, to tell the story to those attending Sydney Design 2013 is no easy task. Oh yes, and they built the exhibit as well !!!

Thanks to all the students, UNSW staff, Powerhouse Museum staff and the many fathers, brothers, sisters and HH staff that helped make it all work so well.

Get along to the Powerhouse Museum and see the results.
