Water, water everywhere…

Water is the theme in Singapore this week.

Whether drinking it, storing it or disposing of water it is the hot topic around town with locals and the many, many international visitors contributing to the week.

The WorldSkills Water Innovation Challenge is one of the many events planned this week and the competing teams are in their final huddle sorting details and materials for a start tomorrow morning. It will be the USA and Australian teams in competition, working on real project briefs from Nepal and Bangladesh.

Following on from the past WorldSkill projects in Bangladesh, Nepal, South Africa and PNG, the winning team will then have the chance (and the resources) to work with a local team in either Nepal or Bangladesh and implement their winning solution and improve living conditions.
