Healthabitat supports the overall goal and scope of the National Partnership Agreement on Remote Indigenous Housing and the total program budget of $5.5 billion dollars. 

However, we cannot get the stated costs and targets of all the parts of the program to balance with the overall program budget. The $2billion excess budget is just a bit too high to be a rounding error…

We think targeting money to housing needs and improving house function is important and achieving the most for the money invested is in everyone’s interest and this is why we have made this our next BIG ISSUE.
