From Global Studio Bhopal

Global Studio has been very busy, and as it finishes up a number of groups have carried out on-site projects. 

The Prempura group has worked with the school and local community culminating in the painting of a mural, the planting of a number of trees , the picking up of garbage on the school grounds, the establishment of a sewing group as well as design proposals for sustainable development.

The Inclusive City group has staged an event on the ghat from which they have proposed a bridge crossing that connects to the lake side. Through their ‘We are Bhopal’ project they have explored people’s sense of place. 

The outcomes of Global Studio 2012, including a number of short films, will be posted on the website within two weeks.
