Local Teams

Since 1999, over 75% of all Healthabitat staff have been local community people. These communitymembers, who are also residents of Housing for Health projects, are engaged in severalforms of paid work including;

• Project planning
• training of new staff,
• testing and fixing houses
• assisting licensed trades with major fix work
• data entry and on site office work, and
• liaising with householders in there own language about the aims and methods of the program.
