Village Projects

Staging the Projects
At the beginning of the first village project at Bhattedande, the project partners agreed to stage the building process starting with only two toilets, one biogas and one septic system. This 'trial' allowed for all partners to gauge their ability to effectively work together, and give the villagers a chance to observe the process of construction, view the results, assess their appropriateness and apply any modifications if necessary for the continuation of the project.
The projects are managed by Community Health and Development Society, Nepal (CHDS)
